I have Norton Spyware on my Yahoo Toolbar. I check for Updates everyday, but it hasn't updated since October 9th. Is this ok? Or should I get a different Spyware Program?

You should manually get your Norton Updates. Look for an Icon in the Norton Antivirus section of your PROGRAMS that says LiveUpdate. If that does not work, then open the Norton Antivirus program, and look at the Update subscription status.

The most recent updates that I got was October 19th. Yes, the updates come at irregular times, but usually at least one a week.

Good luck

Some of these aren't even anti spyware, they are anti virus. I guess Norton. The full version of AVG is the best.

to the best of my knowledge, most anti spyware, will up date every time you connect the internet, by its self. but there are some that need to do a live up date every so often.by the user.

contact the people that deal with those programs and see what they say

Normally, it updates weekly, but you can check for updates at any time.

you need to set the time within the software.. and set it to run at night while you are sleeping so it doesn't interupt your time on YahooAnswers!!
