Microsoft have taken steps to discourage piracy of their software. They have developed the Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) and WGA Notifier to this end. WGA is the component which validates your copy of Windows OS while the WGA Notifier is the component which generates the popups nagging you to get a genuine version of Windows OS. Even without WGA validation, you can still download security patches but you can not download other optional Windows software (e.g. Windows Defender). Someone was kind enough to develop a guide on how to remove the WGA Notifier component; you can't remove the WGA component. Read:

"Disable and Remove Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications Nag Screen" -- written by mydigitallife.info (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/04/26/disable-and-remove-windows-genuine-advantage-notifications-nag-screen/1)

If you aren't comfortable during this manually, there is a freeware tool to remove it. You can find the download at: (http://www.firewallleaktester.com/removewga.htm) Be sure to read the entire article before running the program.

well i've never gotten that specific pop up before, but there was once this really annoying popup that kept coming back every five seconds
try leaving the pop up open so that the same one cant pop up, and then ignore it
i'm not so sure what op is but if its importent you might want to figure out what it is and MAKE it valid, lol

If your copy of Windows is an illegal one, then it is a warning from Microsoft. If that is the case, MS now detects who is running illegal copies and is shutting down those copies.

Also, without a genuine copy, you can't get upates and computers are open to security attacks. There's no point in getting a cracked version either, it won't make any difference because of the WGA.
