I want to try a free virus protection service (AVG) mainly because Norton makes my computer slow as s@#*. If AVG fails, can I reinstall Norton, or is the CD one install only?

We have a small business and i would like this dashboard to contain list of all items. If the employee clicks on a particular item then it should open a word/excel document or maybe a particular page in internet explorer.

if you have any of the sims games for your pc i need help installing it! ok so i go to install it and first it asks me what language. so i click english and then i click next. then it says "please enter the entire code found in the white box at the lower left of the back of the dvd/cd case." so when i look on the back of the box theres only two white boxes. one in the upper right and it has a code but the code doesnt fit in the space it gives you. in the other white box it just says rated T for teen!! so does anyone know where im supposed to find this code????

What does it do differently? Can I install it without the Yahoo toolbar (hate those stupid things)? If I install it and don't like it, can I go back to an older version?

By the way, I HAVE firefox. I prefer IE. Please do not suggest getting Firefox as the solution to everything.

I just burning a movie from scanned fotos. They take for every to burn on a DISC. There are 77 fotos and it takes for ever to burn them
Help, how do I reseize fotos when scanned them through HP software? Would that speed up my burning process? But than how does it work with PhotoDVDmaker?

I'm due to have my TADM10 + ORACLE certification test... and i've studied as much as i could.... but it seems to be a hopeless exam... everyone who has tried has been able to achieve all the modules.. does anyone have some useufl links, tips or actual questions??

I changed a value from the Registry.It was folder HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT. I changed the value from "nothing" to "0." After i made the change i could not boot my computer...so i went into safe mode and changed it back..however the computer still does not start normally. I have Service Pack 2. Does anyone know the value of what it is supposed to be? thanks

i downloaded some windows updates by accident. managed to click cancel before they installed. i thought they would have been in downloaded program files, but "SoftwareDistribution" and sperately in the "WINDOWS" file are the only places i cna find them.
