How do you reseize pictures in HP software?

Question

I just burning a movie from scanned fotos. They take for every to burn on a DISC. There are 77 fotos and it takes for ever to burn them
Help, how do I reseize fotos when scanned them through HP software? Would that speed up my burning process? But than how does it work with PhotoDVDmaker?

well i have an HP All-In-One(scanner,fax,copy,print put together)...and what i do is that i crop the images. you'll have to crop the images to make them appear bigger. and you go to options, and resize them.
