I tried the uninstall from toolbar options several times without success. I also don't know how this toolbar installed. I didn't want it, nor want it to change my start page (which I could fix)

Try going to control panel and add remove programs. Select the yahoo toolbar and hit remove button. This should work ideally.

Otherwise, in internet explorer page, click on Tools, Manage Add-ons. Select the option to view add ons that explorer is using, pick yahoo toolbar from the list and select the Disable option below. Apply the changes and restart ie. I am sure this will work!

If you are using toolbar in IE on MS-Windows, and the toolbar's own option to uninstall itself does not work - try removing it via the Add/Remove Programs control panel.

I have included the link to the instructions for doing that.

I just uninstalled it from my computer 10 min.s ago. Just go to control panel, add/remove programs, find it in the list and click remove.

right click on toolbar,may need to unlock,then uncheck yahoo toolbar.This wont delete it but it wont be in your toolbars
