Software - August 2006

I cannot use Genuis ColorVivid4 Scanner on my PC in WindowsXP.Althought I installed V4 driver(updated for WindowsXP).But warning:error.
Please,help me.How to download and install new version V4 Scanner driver.

Hello guys, could u pls help me out with this?? I've found out that my pc was infected with brontoc. I've noticed that the folder option in the tools menu was missing and after I execute the run on the start button, my pc is restarting even though I didnt do restarting...What antivirus software is suited for this?? could u pls provide me an antivirus that cleans brontoc and at the same time free of charge or no subcription is needed.....thanks

I'm looking for a freeware under Windows that can perform searches for certain combination of words in documents (word, excel,...)

Example: i want to find every file that contains the words "car" and "house".

The search option of Windows isn't able to do that obviously.

Whenever I try to install DNS 8 Pro, it stops at "Tenns.cab" telling it is corrupt or
unable to read.
Copied the lot to the HD but to no avail.
Can anyone please help me?

I connected my camera to my PC thru the USB drive, but it does not recognize it, i hvae installed the USB driver as well as the software required. It pops up the New hardware found dialog, but is not able to recognize the correct software.

The same is happening even for my mobile phone, any ideas why???

somehow i have changed my computers language preference to german. now some of the web sites like msn and the msn messenger comes in german language instead of german. so is the software installation. if i add new software it just gets add on as in german version, it does not gives me the option of english. how do i change this

When i try to install a program eg.windows media player 11 on Windows XP it gives me an error msg.(We cannot validate your product key or version of windows). Also when i try to install service pack 1 or 2 it tells me that the product key you used to install windows might be invalid. Is there anyway that i can resolve this problem?
