Sometimes when I play a RAR movie after I unzip it, I have sound but no picture. What causes this?

sounds like you need codecs. rar is a zipping format for winrar. not sure what format the file is. if its mpeg or avi. try the divx player or codecs for windows media player.

1st, RAR and ZIP are two different compression formats.
2nd, the problem is probably that you dont have the right codec. We need to know what the file is you are trying to play and what player (name and version) you have and what (if any) codecs you have installed.

There is no movie format of type.rar(may be too)

Dont know......but unzip is slowly.......its sexier that way. sorry.......I tired. LOL
