click on the mozilla firefox open it at the top click on
tools /options /conncections settings
put a dot in
direct conncection to the internet
click on the ok tab
then click on the other ok tab
now right click internet explorer
go to propeties
at the top click on
conncection
click on
lan settings
tick the box at the top
automatically detect settings
click on
ok
then click on ok again
re-start your computer
then try yahoo messenger

mozilla won't have anything to do with it. just uninstall and reinstall the messenger. if you recently used a spyware sweeper it might have erased a file needed to run the messenger. this is ok it does happen.
