Excel - Conditional Formatting - how can I find easy to use instructions?

Specifically I need:
If I put a figure in cell A1 then I want cell B1 to multiply the first cell by a common or designated figure/amount say 3.75
However if a put the letter E in the cell A1 then I want cell B1 to multiply the first cell by a different common or designated figure/amount say 8.00

How can I erase all the fragmented files on my hard drive?

After I defrag my windows xp, the results show many fragmented files still there. Is there a way to access these files ... a program that will allow me to erase them? They take up a lot of space!

Help needed urgently to recover data from 2 second quick-formatted hard disk?

I accidently formatted one of my drives which has 10 gb of data on it. After clicking the format button I realized my mistake and within couple of seconds I cancelled the process. But now I am not able to access that drive. I have lots of valuable data on that drive...please tell me fast on what I should do to recover my drive :( Please recommend free softwares which I can use easily or the best known softwares which will get back all the data gauranteed Ohhh please !!! I am not able to access the drive because everytime I try to do that I get a message "Do you want to format the drive ?" for which I obviously reply "NO". Seondly that drive is of NTFS format. Hope there is some angel out there who knows how to recover all the data I need from taht drive. Its been with mne for years. I just can't afford to loose it like this !!! Should I stop using my computer as it might overwrite tracks (which I could use to recover the data) on the drive which I am not even able to access right now ?

After windows update - new virus warning on screen - cant do sys restore now or task manager?

Well my lovely gf has called me at work. It seems like she had forgotten to tun off automatic windows updates on her computer. Her windows updated and now there is a warning that wont go away on her screen saying that she has a virus or spy ware on her computer. Her task manager is gone, and will not come back on by doing the 3 ways windows says to bring it up. She tries to do a system restore and it wont let her and her "pretty" back ground on her desktop is gone. She says the message is from the Windows Security Center and when she got on my computer and researced the message that her computer is now all messed up. I told her o come get my credit card and go out and buy anti virus software as she has none on her computer. I am a "what if" thinker all the time. What if the virus software does not get her task manager back and get her computer back up and running? What should I do? Is this because of updates? How would I get rid of them when it seems we are locked out everything.

Calculate PDU length ?

Take for example this following PDU:

011000 8 91 87654321 00 00 FF 19 54747A0E4ACF4161903C4C4797E520F6DB7D06CDDB73

Length = 22 + 1 = 23(dec) = 17(Hex)

0011000 8 81 87654321 00 00 FF 19 54747A0E4ACF4161903C4C4797E520F6DB7D06CDDB73

Length = 19(hex) = 25(dec)???

How do you derive that the length of the PDU is 25 by calculating the user data length? I calculated that the length is 22 + 1 for 7-bit data but still ist only 23.

Can anyone advise me on the solution? Thanks
