It is normal after a defrag to still have some fragmented files. It just means that Windows was not able to move all the parts of those files into the same location. If your hard drive is too full Windows does not have room to completely defrag the drive.
A fragmented file takes up no more space than an unfragmented file. It just loads slower. You do not want to go deleting files just because they are fragmented. Some of those fragmented files are needed to run Windows.
If you are running out of space, you need to copy some of your data you rarely use (pictures, old letters, music) off the computer and onto a CD or DVD. If you need them, you can just load them from the CD.
Also uninstall any programs that you can survive without. They use up a lot of space too.
Once you are done, rerun the defrag program and it should reduce the number of fragmented files. But you do not want a program that just goes and deletes files that are fragmented. It would destroy your computer.

First off...why would you want to erase fragmented files?...just because the are fragmented?...bad idea...
As files are used, saved, etc, they are saved on your drive in the next availble space...but the next available space may not have enough room to save the whole file, so it is "fragmented" and a piece is saved here, and a piece is saved there...
You will always have some fragmented files...its the nature of the beast...there is nothing wrong with this...
why then, do we defrag our drives?...it helps the system work more efficiently to use and retrieve information...
All in all...don't worry about have fragmented files...if you defrag on a regular basis, you won't have any problems or issues related to this...

Fragmented files are just normal files which are present on multiple parts in multiple locations on the hard drive.
The fragmented files could be a system file or some important file.
Its best to try to defragment again. After defragmentation, the report is generated which displays various files which could not be defragmented. Have a look at the file names and if any one was created or copied by you, then you could try copying it to a different partition.

Leave them be. Having a few fragmented files is not a problem. Many files cannot be cleaned up because they are either special system files or are currently open. You will always have some level of fragmentation on your hard disk.

If there are really partial fragmented files, rather than non-optimized fragmented files, the quick scan disk check will alert you as it progresses and give you an option to delete them.
