I'm so behind the times. The first thing I need to do is scan some old family photos. What is the best way to go about this? I don't have a scanner, but I think I might be able to do this at Kinko's.

Any ideas?

Also, where to go from there?

I have made a page on my site with the layout I would like you to take a look at and explain why it is acting the way it is.

See the header is at the top. The menu and the content are beside each other in the middle. The footer is at the bottom. But when you resize it in internet explorer the whole page messes up. Can someone please explain why it is doing this. Thanks.

Hi I have a textfile like "Hello world"How are you". I wanna put these in an array as arr1 = Hello world arr2 = How are you. I am trying to use the split function but it doest work for this delimeter. Supposing it was hello world,how are you the split function works fine. For the latter the code is
a.split(",") . but when splitting from " a.split(""") is giving syntax error. Have tried the escape characters as well like a.split("\"") , a.split("/"") , but all in vain.. Help appreciated.

I have been able to copy last entry/file to file.txt with SSH command :-
cat filename.zip | gunzip -c >file.txt
How can I remove last entry/file and keep repeating? Else, how can I extract all files?

What I am wanting is that when the user clicks "View Offers" above the Buy new or Buy used section, i want it to expand the offers.

It works in Firefox but not IE7 and I dont have IE6 so if anyone with IE6 could test it that would be great.

When you click on the "View Offers" it calls a javascript function, where the passed parameter (div) is a string which represents the id of the div that contains the data to be expanded:

element.style.display = "block";
document.location = '#'+div;
}

Can anyone suggest any reason why this isnt working in IE7 but it is in Firefox?

Hii, I made a program in VB6, my problem is that I dont know how to create a user interface so to instal it, I'ld like to create the folder: HDD>program files>myprogram (please note that the HDD it's not necesarly c:>) then copy the program files into the created directory and finaly create the executable file shortcut to the start file so the program runs whenever the user turn on his computer, could you give me information about how to do this???

YouTube has a neat function that hides the full-text description of a video clip until the user clicks the "more" link at the end of the shortened text description.

Hello, I'm wondering is there a code where people can leave comments on my website? My website is more like a blog, so I wanted people to be able to leave comments.

I found a good blog background, I would like to use it into my blog. (author said the background style can be copy for free). But they are seperate files in "HTML" and "STYLE" format. My blog only can accept css file. How to use these 2 files and edit to css file?
