I am working in dreamweaver to make an an internal website for a small organization and am trying to embed a calendar into a page. We'd like for it to be an Outlook calendar so we can just invite the calendar to all our events and meetings so we can all see what is going on and coming up. Does anyone know of where I can find instructions for doing this? Is there some sort of plugin I can download that will make this work for me?

I'm running php5 on iis 6/windows 2k3. I'm looking at phpinfo() and it says that the configuration file is in c:\windows, but my php.ini file is in c:\php. When I place php.ini in the windows directory, it breaks.

How can I set the path to c:\php? I have it set in the environment variables dialog.

what gives? please help. thanks!

Implementing Database Structure Design

You must now implement the database tables that you have designed. While you are creating the database tables take screen shots of each significant stage and paste them into an msn word document.

For example:

Step 1. I opened MS Access and selected blank Access database and then named my file video store database and selected Create.

Step 2. You must give enough detail so that somebody can recreate your database structure by reading your documentation

Once your data table has been created you should illustrate how you created your relationships.

Amendments to my database structure

For this task you must show that you have made two improvements to your database structure during implementation.

If you found any problems with your design during implementation (with field names, data types, field sizes etc. you should write about them here.

When documenting your improvements use the following format.

Improvements 1 detail

The first improvement that I made to my database structure was……………………,..

I don't want to pay the amount that Lids charges to just to convert the file. They charge $85 which is way to much in my opinion.

Hi, i am designing a DJ web site for my uni project. now i have managed to write a search script but i need futher help. For example if the user searches for DJ's which play House music he will end up with about 25 results. The results display as a list. What i want to do is make that list into links. So for example if the user clicked on any name in the list it would load up the dj's profile. How do i make the link in php so i dont have to write a seperate html file for each dj?

I purchased a template that included both psd and html files. I ended up tweaking the template in photoshop to get it to look the way I want, but I can't figure out how to save it so I can edit the text in a html application. At first I sliced the psd and saved it along with a corresponding html file which I opened in frontpage, however everything on the page appears as images which you cannot easily add text to.

The original html included with the template was set up so the images were all saved into cells of a table and the text was editable. I don't want to use photoshop's text tool every time I want to add text or links, so what do I need to do to edit text in a standard editor?

Any tutorials or infomation explaining this would be appreciated, thanks :)

Hey everyone. I have been searching and searching the web for this.

When news breaks, CNN places a red alert banner on the top of every page. I know they do it somehow from one exteral file using CSS or XML, then it pops up on every page, because they can't go to every single pages and update it, etc.. How would I do that? Does anyone know how CNN and all them other news sites do it?

I know the same concept would be the same for a navigational menu on my web site. If I ever need to add or delete something, I can't go to every single page, especially if it has hundreds of pages. If anyone could even direct me to a web site with specific intructions, etc. that would be great. Thanks for your help!!

On http://www.gptlist.com, the cellpadding on the tables make the text and pictures go great on firefox, but on IE the cellpadding does not work!?

For CSS, I am using this: padding: 15px;

and it is not working at all no matter what I put in on the IE.

What do i do?

Write a shell script that serves as a command menu for a user. The script should prompt them for which command they want to run. Ask them if they want to run a web browsers (links), edit a text file (vi), check their mail (pine) or exit the script. If they choose to browse the web, it should ask them which web page to start with. If they edit a text file, it should aks them which file to edit. If you want to really impress me, make it so that after each task, the menu returns. That is, if they choose links, then it should return them to the menu after they close links.

I am looking for the following commands in the script:
