My daughter in law uses them regularly and I have no clue what they mean.
Can someone give me a list of the most commonly used (clean) ones?

I have a screen that asks for username and password and then to submit. I would like to get around this so it is autmaticly takes me to the next page after log in. Any Ideas? But on the next page there is another link that I dont wan the user to have to click but instead be taken directly to where this link is pointing..... Sorry if this sounds like guff I am not web orientated in the slightest, I just want to know what I am talking about with regards this solution. Cheers

I am a VB6 learner. I am getting names of variables by adding some strings through a program code. I want to access the contents of these memory variables so formed. For example:
Dim A as string
Mem1=1
Mem2=2
Mem3=3
Mem4=4
Mem5=5
for i = 1 to 5
A="Mem"+ltrim(str(i))
Print
end for

How do I achieve this? Please help.

Can someone please tell me how to do this or point me in the right direction to do it. I have seen alot of sites that "hide" their links (for lack of a better term) and I want to know how to do that. A good example is the sponsored ad on the right hand side (the lulu.com ad) of http://www.writing.com

Can anyone tell me how to do that? I looked at the code and it looks like plain html but it isn't.

And before anyone asks, no i am not affiliated with the site. I just picked that one as an example. I see it alot on sites that use affiliate ppc advertising or affiliate referral urls.

in macromedia flash, you can make buttons by pressing F8, the you can give it actions by double clicking on it, there you would see the worlds up, over, down and hit. Hey all,

I am not very good in html programming, but i am looking for a javascript that would load a différent URL out of 6 predefined link,. and load that URL randomly on the website, on what i heard was call onload event. I know i need to program an array and choose randomly out of that array the link it will load automatically in the webpage. I don't what the user to click on anytime, it loads a différent adress everytime the user reloads or enters the page. Thanks for you help.

the first is :
I have a variable "root" that the type is "File" and I want to convert "File" to "String".

so how can I change the type of "root"?
