How to add text on video?

I am not looking to add subtitles i want to put a logo on the corner of a video and make it stay there the whole time the video plays.....how do i do this? LIke how youtube puts their logo, and google in the corners i want to do it like that......Can you help me?

You'll need some kind of video Authoring program.
