The important thing to realize is that your SWF needs a HTML wrapper. It's that HTML page containing the Flash object you upload to and use the URL of.

Of course, you upload the SWF as well and make sure that its relative position to the HTML page doesn't change. (For example, if the SWF was in the same folder as the HTML page on your computer, then it must be in the same folder on the server.)

imageshack says that they can upload a swf file, but I've had a hard time with it in the past. Try it if you can't get it to work, see if you can save as an animated .gif file. It could help. The other option is to change to a html code and upload it to a website, then learn how to get the code off of the site.

open dreamweaver insert flash animation(swf file) by insert->media->flash(in dreamweaver 8) in the page which you are designing and then save it as html page now on your ftp account(where you will be having your site) upload that html page that you have created and also the swf file. But keep in mind that you should give the correct path(of swf file) in the html page. Give a relative path instead of absolute path that means if in your ftp the html page and swf file are in same directory then you should give the path "/flash.swf" in the html file
