Many ignorant computer users don't see any new features in Vista. Be patient. We haven't seen anything from Vista yet. WPF is a technology that will revolutionize the way we think of application user interface. Unfortunately, since Vista isn't adopted by the masses yet, almost no companies are writing software that targets WPF, because the old fashioned Windows API still works on XP and Vista. Avalon is another cool feature, it's a 3D desktop environment. Also, when DirectX 10 becomes standard, all video games for PC will have to be on Vista, because XP can't support Shader Model 4.0.
Give it 2 years and Vista will be THE operating system. In the meantime, there is no rush to upgrade because you aren't getting much more out of it yet. I haven't upgraded yet, but as it becomes more popular I surely will be.

I cant see any real benefits on Vista except for the networking, which is miles better than XP/2000, other than that, its a waste of hardware.
Why on earth would I want to use a 2GB PC plus a top graphics card simply to display fancy graphics, and when compare with the Mac interface, the Mac wins hands down.
Simply put, its bad programming, and bad design, I have had so many customers requesting downgrade to XP, and many more who wants to upgrade to Vista, then weeks later, downgrade again.
