yer but transering money costs a certain amount but small

It's free to the buyer. Sometimes the seller tacks on the fees and they will state that it is so-much extra for using Paypal. But that's not very classy.

I use them to process all credit cards on my website. I think they are a bargain and they have learned how to serve my customers. It did take them a long time to figure out that e-commerce is not the same as Ebay.

If you are paying for an item yes it's free.

If you are the one receiving money, PayPal take a percentage.

It's great for you if you win an auction. It sucks for me as a seller because I lose money on every single thing I sell.
