How many days before a motion do you have to file a modified motion?

If this is a legal question, a lot depends on state law. In Massachusetts you usually have twenty days to answer a court summons on a motion. It would be within the intervening time, up to a week before to file a modification to the motion.

Don't get much motion here in the computer section, we just sit at our pcs.
