i have a Vaio laptop VGN-FS830/W using a DJ software ((Virtual DJ 3) on it was running good but i got a updated version (VDJ4 )so i uninstall 3 & install 4 but i decided to use the previous version which was 3 i uninstall & install VDJ3 ...but after i noticed while running the software VDJ3 NOW cuts off my screen ...it goes blank but i can still hear music playing ...if i plug on an External monitor to my laptop i can see whats on the laptop...can anyone tell me what can i do to fix this problem..?

I can`t think for the life of me what this is called or where it is on my keyboard.

can't <--- this...not the whole word but the little thing in between the N and the T.
' <-- this. I can find this ` but its not the same can anyone remind me what it is called and where it is on the computer keyboard?

my puppy jumped on at me as i was sitting and the button beside number lock and insert went flying of my laptop i have hunted the room for it and cant find it he didn't eat it as i checked him before i got him out of room .
What is the key thats missing and do you think i'll be able to get a replacement .

Computers can pretty much do anything these days. They even have computers MAKING computers. So do you think they're capable of someday overpowering us? We basically rely on them to live. We program them to do things we can't. I'm not saying it will be tomorrow, or even 10 years, but do you think it could happen?

I have Windows XP Media Center Ed, and I want to uninstall it because alot of the functions aren't working properly. A few months ago, I did a sys restore, and all that did was make a copy of my corrupted XP. I need to make a clean slate, and start over. I need help with this.

My computer will not shut down - everytime I try to shut down it restarts itself. Also whenever I try to just restart it goes to the "dumping physical memory blue screen" with the error "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR _EQUAL" I have no idea what any of this means. I have scanned with AVG, and spysweeper. Have also tried system restore, and it went to blue screen during that restart process. Any information/help would be appreciated.

OK. I have an older computer and it keep getting the system has performed a illegal operation when I do anything. So I think that I need to reinstall windows, but when I do that do I need to unistall the old windows? And if I do need to uninstall it how do I do that?

okay, i don't think my last question was clear enough. i have a windows xp desktop that is about 2 years old. since about may, sometimes my computer will randomly shut off. at first it may have done it like once or twice a week, but now it does it several times a day. it mainly happens when i have more than one window open. i have tried avg anti virus scan and i also have adware personal and they came up clean. im not sure if i do have a virus or if it is something else. the people who answered my question before said something about the fan or power supply, but how do i fix that? please, if you can help me!

I need to print from a DOS program, basically from SAGE, on a Network printer but i cannot. How can i arrange for several users to print on the network printer. When I cannot a printer to a particular user it works but users cannot print from dos on a network printer. Please help.

I was lucky enough to copy a friends office 2003 onto my Comp.
Unluckily when i get xls emails they go straight to Exel. Can you tell me how to stop them going there as i cannot access them.
