It depends on what progam you use for email.

Most programs have spam controls that you can set. You can add their email address to the blocked list.

This will take care of the mail showing up in your in-box.

As far as an auto-response saying you are no longer accepting email from them, some programs allow it.

The thing is, if you've asked them not to forward anything to you, and they continue to do it, then I wouldn't recommend telling them you are blocking their email. Just block it.

If they are doing it on purpose, and they know you're blocking them, all they'll do is just use a different email account and send from there.

If you can tell me what email program you use, I can give you exact directions for your block settings.

you can't do what ou want within yahoo's interface. you can however set it up in Microsoft Outlook with a rule.

The problem isn't stopping the emails - you can set them as spam. It is the email back saying that you no longer wish to accept their emails. There are no autoresponders within yahoo which can be configured to pick out specific addresses and send generic responses.

In Microsoft Outlook you just create a rule which says everytime you receive an email from junk@junk.mail.sender then delete and reply saying "......."
