I don't know how this happened and I'm not sure how to fix it.

In internet explorer there is a tool bar at the top, click on "View" and go to "text size".......you can choose whichever one looks best to you

out of your broswer menu' Goto -View -textual content length and then decide on from the options the only which matches your requirement. (i'm thinking that you're employing internet explorer as you haven't suggested the browser you're employing)
