No. There is no evidence of monitors causing cancer. But if you have too many the only comment would be that being exposed to the EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) emitted by any electric device can have some effects on people and animals. The most famous case has been cellular phones causing headaches and affecting the electrical waves of the brain. Though, there is just a study conducted by Nokia on this.

No, as far as I know, and as much as I know about computers, monitors cannot cause cancer. I have never heard of such thing. I'm sure you can check on this by searching either Google or Microsoft website.

The chances of you getting cancer is slim to none, if your jonesin for it though, go stick your head in an old microwave and turn it on.

well old monitors do give out stronger gamma rays, but would require a massive amount of exposure to cause any sort of problems.
talking about hundreds of hours.. but i dont think there has been any recoreded problems of it.
