I was lucky enough to copy a friends office 2003 onto my Comp.
Unluckily when i get xls emails they go straight to Exel. Can you tell me how to stop them going there as i cannot access them.

A file with an .xls extension is a Excel file. Your computer is doing exactly what is supposed to do with the file. There aren't many programs besides Excel that will open a file with that extension. Next time buy the software instead of copying it. There's a reason this isn't working the way you want it to.

Can you explain how you get "xls" emails? Or do you emean attachments with an XLS extension?

change the path by selecting other directory.
