I have a Compaq computer and i think that the modem is going bad. I have a junk compaq in another room and I know that the modem in the junk computer works. How do I switch the modems.(Take the modem out of the junk computer and put it in the good computer)Step by Step please. Thanks for answering.

what happens when you upload too much stuff into a computer,
i have 10 gb of memory on a laptop, and i uploaded movies into it that take about 12 gb alltogether.
i shut down and now it wont' even turn on anymore.

did my computer have a hard drive attack.

I have a windows 98 OS and for some reason it starts up in safe mode. I have restarted the pc and it still boots in safe mode. What can I do to get out of safe mode?

If I try and save images from the internet to my computer they are automatically saving as bmp files but I want to save them as a jpg file. Is there any way of altering a setting on my computer so I can do this.
