The text is listed going down instead of normal view! I tried fixing by clicking on View and using text size and encoding but it is still so huge!

I want to connect the sky digi box with the tv card in my pc. But their is no socket for the scart lead. How can I connect sky digital box with athe tv card ? Can I buy a different type of scart lead ?

I put 2 videos on there but got a little over-zealous about pressing

I mean there is no sound coming from them, they are turned on and have the power on and they are plugged in.. I tried and tried and still they dont work for some reason. earlier when we bought the computer they were fine....

i am trying to print out a powerpoint presentation that i made but whenever i go to print it, it does one slide at a time on one page. i want to try and get 6 slides on a single page. can anyone help? its not opened with microsoft powerpoint, instead its called open office.

I assume they are placed by their frequency in words, but is'nt it crazy that we dont even have to think about typing each letter, we just know where it is? Any help?

I turned it off this morning and it was perfectly fine. It's not even connected to the internet so it cant have a virus. What's wrong with it?

It is a Presario 2500 with Intel Pentium 4 (dont know if that helps or if I even wrote that right). It happens most often when I am playing an online game where it seems it may be working harder than usual. It also kept doing it while I was trying to run a virus scan (which takes forever with Norton). It is plugged into the wall and will come right back on when I hit the button...

Oh and its not hibernating.

What can I do to stop this or what could be the cause. It sucks.

I've been looking around for the "Get on t'internet!" mouse mat (with peter kay on the front). The only one I've found is on the official peter kay web site and they want £6.00 + £2.50 P&P (total rip-off in other words!). Anyone have any ideas where I can find one with a more reasonable price tag?! Cheers

Whenever i turn my computer on it says can not load user profile logging you into temporary profile. Also it keeps popping up saying something is wrong need to run chkdsk utility.

What can i do?

When i go to start my laptop all it does is tells me my computer did not shutdown properly and it gives me the option for safe mode ......and after i click any option it just freezes and when i just dont click it freezes and when i ctrl alt and delete it does nothing....by the way i have a toshiba satellite thats all i know
