i'm not exactly sure what your question is, but in general terms, " express" is the next generation of PC cards. i don't see PCMCIA fading to black very quickly though. you're probably safe to go with PCMCIA if you're considering peripherals for your PC. and besides, express is so new there's hardly anything out there for it yet.
