I am trying to get a karaoke/dj business going and have all the equipment for karaoke but need to know what kind of laptops are good for dj'ing so I can do both, any advice would be great about it or dj'ing with a laptop in general:)

Alright when i sign on to my computer it takes like 6 minutes for it to get to where i can actually do stuff. One is because windows media starts up and it tries to connect to the internet or something and it wont let me do anything at ALL until it loads... then there is some other junk i dont even know where it came from but mainly i want to get it to where i can start my computer and get right to work... please help me out people!
