the q about computer speed, i have the highest speed the company offers 5.0, i have norton antivirus and webroot spy sweeper. i service is through embarq. i haven't had this problem before. please help with more suggestions!!!!!!

Its your norton. It is notorious for slowing down computers.
uninstall it and try another one.
