looks like you may need some guidance but the problem can be solved by going to: Start / Run / msconfig, startup tab and UNcheck stuff you don't need at startup.
Unchecking certain items could make your mousie stop working etc. You have to know a little about what you are UNchecking. If you have to submit another question, state what kind of computer you have and the operating system.

OK here we go.

- Click on your Windows Start button
- Hit "Run"
- Type MSCONFIG
- Click to the "Startup" tab
- ONLY uncheck boxes that pertain to programs you DO NOT WISH to start up when your computer is turned on
- DO NOT SCREW with C:\windows... type of files ONLY ones you recognize as media player and so on.
- You may have to do this every now and then many programs like to set themselves to an auto start for windows

- Enjoy your quick start up time
- Also running a "DEFRAG" every now and then always helps

While you can use msconfig, you will find that the startup manager tools in either Spybot Search and Destroy or CrapCleaner will serve you better. Links to these and other tools at http://360.yahoo.com/wektech
