i been using a pc (windows) all my life and i was thinking about something new, a iMac mini. is it worth it?? wjat shoould i do wait til vista or get the iMac now?

I am a student who is looking for a new laptop. I had a Dell Laptop but it gave me more trouble than anything. Which would be best for both money and reliability? On the reliability point, would an Apple be better than say a Sony or Dell? I know that its hard to compare an Mac to another type of non Mac laptop. Any suggestions?

I am a freshman nursing major this fall at u mass Dartmouth and my question is should I get a desktop or a laptop for classes. I will be living on campus and don't plan on using a computer to take notes in class. Pros or Cons likes or dislikes please let me know.

everytime i try to get on yahoo! games it gets to the part where it says ""wait 3 min for applet to load"". 1 time i went to watch a movie, came back and was still there. does anyone have any ideas? 10 points for first answer that WORKS.

I've got a eMachines W2888 (yes, I'm cheap) and I've been thinking of transfering some of my vinyl records onto my PC.

Most guides reccomend that I hook up the record player onto my computer's soundcard.

All I need to know at this is where the soundcard is. Is it external or internal?
