Use a table






This is text one alongside This text being two


the td and /td define the two cells and if they are within the same tr and /tr they will be side by side.

I normally include a border="1" in the i.e.
while working on the layout and then change the "1" to "0" when satisfied.

Style attributes can be used in the table and table elements tags.
