I have a laptop computer and I was playing a game and it just shuts down. I had it plugged into a wall so it wouldn't run down it's battery. I tryed to let it cool off and turn it back on but nothing works. Please help!!!!!! It won't even turn on anymore.

I just got a new computer and i do not know how to transfer all of my microsoft outlook emails from my old computer to the new one. I know that i could email each individual email from the old one to a different email account, but i have over 1,000 emails and that is unreasonable.

Is there any way to copy, export, etc. these emails, that is time efficient?

Our company prints newsletters, brochures, etc. for ourselves and clients. Our Canon color printer/copier will NOT reproduce true blues in any shade...they always look like purple. Help! I like purple, but blue would be nice too.

What I want to know is what is the different between an e-machine and an actual pc. I know that one big difference but I heard and e machine can still carry some software applications. Plus does anyone have any recommadations for a laptop. I'm looking at spending between $800 -$1000 on the laptop. Its for my wife.

My computer was having problems and acting kinda funny so I reformatted it and reinstalled all the drivers. I have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 graphics card and I downloaded the newest drivers for this from their site. Now my computer will randomly shut down and restart. It doesn't seem to matter what I am doing at the time. I do send the report to Microsoft and the report I get back states that the stop error is caused by a video adapter device driver.

STOP: 0x100000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER_M

is the error codes that are listed. It further states that there are 2 options to fix this ... 1) download the latest drivers (I have)..... or 2) Manually decrease Hardware Acceleration for your video adapter

I have done both to try to solve this problem.... neither one has worked. It wasn't randomly shutting down/restarting until after I reformatted the drive. Can anyone help me with this problem?

i dont feel like shelling out 50 bucks for a full chip when i only need 1 MB. im not too familliar with this stuff, all i know is i need 1 MB

iphoto used to be great but now its CRAP, I don't even want to use it to store my photos but I need to use it to upload my pictures from my camera. Normally I just plug in my camera, turn it on, and the pictures load effortlessly into the program, but now it wont work. It freezes up and then tells me that none of the pictures are the right "type". I don't want to solve my iphoto problem, I just want to upload my pictures. Is there any way I can get them on my computer without going through iphoto? Thanks.

I've been trying to sign up with Yahoo 360 degrees, but I couldn't save my file because I didn't know what they meant by Home Page. I thought Yahoo was my Home Page, so that's what I put and it came up 'wrong URL' .

Well, I've just exposed myself as hopeless with computers!!!! I only use it for Microsoft Word and surfing the net, so a bit of help would be appreciated.

P.S. What do they mean by avaitor (or something like that!!!!)?
