This normally occurs when switching accounts. I will open my account, but when a sibling opens his/her Internet Explorer, it won't open. I use a Dell Dimension 3000 w/ Windows XP. I have run virus scans w/ AVG and McAfee. Also, my computer is unreasonably slow. I have deleted "Temporary Internet Files", removed unwanted programs and their registries, and ran a disk defragmenter and cleanup. Thirdly, my fan is occasionally louder than normal. I have changed it and blown it out using an air compressor. How do I reduce the noise?

MY DAD HAS A PC THAT MY YOUNG NEPHEW WAS PLAYING GAMES ON AND NOW HE CAN'T GET USING IT AS THE CURSOR IS NOT SHOWING UP, SO HE BOUGHT A NEW MOUSE AND KEYBOARD THINKING THIS WOULD HELP BUT NO. PS:HE IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET JUST INCASE SOMEONE THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT. PLEASE HELP IT'S DRIVING HIM CRAZY.

My screensaver is named 'My Pictures Slideshow' but I can't even find where the pix are saved; not in 'My Pictures"--so where are they??? Did a search to no avail. I'd really like to edit some of them...how do I find this file?

A friend and I are having a disagreement about what is the way to start a new page. She would rather hit return a couple of times and i said to hit CTRL and Enter at the same time for a page break. Which one is correct formatting procedure?

I'm trying to see someone's webcam but it keeps telling me that either: The server is busy or that the web cam is unavailable. While that my friend can see it on her computer. Please help..is there something I need to downlaod or what? Thanks in advance

Okay, so I have all seven seasons of Buffy and all five of Angel. Now, I have a friend who was never quite able to let the whole Buffy/Angel thing go. So I decided that for her birthday I was going to cut up the seasons, and just focus on their romance. I was going to put it on a dvd for her, plus i wanted to add a few music videos, that i would make from some of the footage. Now I was using movie maker, and it will not allow me to load Buffy because it says it's copyrighted. How can i get around this? Plus, i've never done anything like this before, so i would need step by step instructions as to how to cut this up for her. Any help is appreciated. Thx.

I've been noticing lately that the font size on my computer in general is tiny, almost to the point where I can't read it. I have about 20/25 vision which is decent but I mean the font size is ridiculous. I've tried changing the pixel dimensions via the "properties option when you right click on the screen but that doesn't do anything. But right now when I'm typing the "categorize the question" categories look perfectly normal. I have a feeling that whatever I should do ti fix this would be under that same "properties" options, I just don't know how to do it.
