Hi.. Depending on what type of window version you are using you can do the Maintenance Wizard in the task scheduler.. To access this .. Go to the Start.. Under programs look for Accessories and then see where it says System Tools, click on that and look for the Maintenance wizard and then go from there. Another thing you can do is go to www.filehippo.com and download CCleaner (Crap Cleaner) I find this works excellent . It will do it all (clean your temp files, your log files, your cookies and recycle bin, etc..) for you at the press of a button... It helps to speed the computer tremendously. Good Luck..

You might have spyware or other programs that is tracking your sites you visit. First download the following two software:
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ (ad aware)
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html (spy bot search and destroy)

Both are free. Install and run them to see if you have any spareware installed on your computer. These two will clean it up.

even with a high speed connection, you still need to run routine maintenance on your computer.......clear your history and delete all the cookies and files on your computer. empty your recycle bin and delete any old documents, music downloads, etc...youll be surprised at the difference!

Scan for viruses and adware since the problem is new. Replacing your browser will just give you another slow browser.
