A few questions to solve the problem:
Have you put in something new, like a vent or a new graphics card?
Are you sure there is power? Try plugging in a lamp or radio in that plug.
Have you checked the cable?
Is the main switch on the back of the computer turned on?
Has the computer shut down while you been working - maybe it overheated?
Is it an old computer?
I had the same problem right after the computer started up - it was the maiboard that had died.

You offer very few details...for all I could guess a curcuit breaker popped or depending on the age of the computer, maybe the power supply died.

the power pack is probably fried... or you accidently knocked a cord off it..
