My screensaver is named 'My Pictures Slideshow' but I can't even find where the pix are saved; not in 'My Pictures"--so where are they??? Did a search to no avail. I'd really like to edit some of them...how do I find this file?

Go to control panel and then click on DISPLAY. Then go to the screensaver tab. You can click on that button "Settings" and it lets you set a folder to where you want the slideshow to use the pictures from. Just go to settings to find the directory and the path to where your pictures are.

Assuming Windows XP...
Right click on empty space on the desktop and select properties
Go in to the Screen saver tab
Select the My Picture Slideshow screen saver from the menu
Click on settings
In the middle of the window will be an area that says "Use pictures in this folder" Under that it will list that folder that it is using
