I am an administrator on my computer and Im the only one that uses it. One day I went to change my internet options in internet explorer and it said i did not have access to them because i was not an administrator. How can I fix this?

They have introductory special where I live (north of Seattle, WA) but after that it goes up to $50/mo. I think that is too much.

I checked the net and found that BT say I can get up to 5mb d/l speed. I check my router it read 2.2mb. I worte to both BT and my router manufacturer. I received a response from BT which summarised I should check this check that etc, which being computer compentent I had already done. I responded attaching my manufacture response (tech info regarding incoming feeds). Bt responded with, they tested my line I can receive 4.5mb, I could upgrade my service to 8mb(new package) for extra money and with that I could receive up to 4.5mb, still saying my lag was an internal prob.
So lets think, BT say I can currently receive 4.5mb (max) for the same money (if I find an internal cure to my prob) or I can pay extra for this new wonder package, to which I pay to receive up to 8mb. However my current lines only accept 4.5mb (externally) so I will not get 8mb, besides my internal will only give me 2.2mb. I have asked for an engineer to check, did they respond...no, where did customer service go

what would it be?
