a browser is what you use to surf the net. the two most common are internet explorer and mozila firefox. many people get problems with IE. firefox however is faster and more customisable

A browser is a program that lets you open web pages. If you are using Windows, you already have a browser on your computer, Internet Explorer.
Click on the Big Blue E icon on your desktop to start the program.
If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon and the desktop, click on the Start Button and look on the menu for it.
