Someone who used to live in house I am landlord of had email address with questionable content. He is not around anymore. I know his info, password etc., and we want to get rid of this account or if there are other answers if you understand my problem, I just dont want younger people stumbling into places they shouldnt be because of one persons indescetion. I must have received some sort of spyware or something because when I go online I have about 15-20 popups per page, and I have had up to 78. I downloaded Mozilla to try to stop this but all of the pop ups still come up but through Explorer. My thought is get rid of explorer and get rid of the pop ups. I tried to just delete it but it will not delete, must be write protected or something. How can I uninstall or keep explorer from working and bring up these pop ups. First one with an answer that works gets 10 points!!!!

I have 2 PC, 1 with win98 (only 96MB) and 1 with XP. Can both use the same internet connection? Is 96MB sufficient to support and will it slow down?

Many people seem to be referring to many internet "browsers". I know only one, the one that came with my computer, MS Internet Explorer. I've just been wondering whether there are any others and, if so, what purpose do they serve, if IE already gets onto the so-called "information superhighway".

I had broadband and yet it takes ages to get into my computer. when I want to go to Answers or google I get Games. When I answer or ask a question the screen freezes and the little "e" goes black and I have to keep on pressing until it opens. It is so frustrating and time consuming. I have pressed the plugs back Iinto the modem but its still happening. Should I get rid of the Yahoo Homepage and make it hOTMAIL as I didn't seem to have so many problems there as I have in Yahoo. I keep getting "not connected" whenever I try the dial up. Please help me because its driving me crazy.

I have tried everything rite from re installin th internet xplorer to checkin my connection settings.there is no prob frm the ISP side.Th same internet connexion on another pc opens up orkut but not on my computer..What cud b th prob and its possible solution??Please help me..thanks
