I have 2 PC, 1 with win98 (only 96MB) and 1 with XP. Can both use the same internet connection? Is 96MB sufficient to support and will it slow down?

Both can use the same connection and will not slow down the speed whether the one with win98 is using 96MB of memory (I think)?

You'll need to buy a router if you want to be able to get the two PCs to use the Internet Connection at the same time. Ask any friends who is into computers to bring you to buy a router at Sim Lim Square. (Yes, I know that you're a Singaporean!)

If 96MB would refer to the amount of RAM (Random Access Memory) you have, I would recommend you to go to Sim Lim Square, and go to those old hardware shops to ask whether they've got parts to help you upgrade your old computer.

Else, I would recommend to get a new computer. 96MB is pretty unheard of for now!

You should be able to get a second-hand one at around perhaps $500-$900.

Yes, they can. Either one of the PCs will be configured to share its access, either you purchase an Internet Gateway (Linksys, Netgear, etc.) and share your Internet access that way.

I would recommend the gateway method as it will increase the level of protection of your PCs through its firewall (reduce the risks of hacking your PCs).

Yes they can share the same video account, with a broadband account use a router http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1022153&Sku=D700-5148. With a dialup account you would have to use internet connection sharing http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q234815/
