We have Windows 98. Will that level of web cam match with the specifications of our computer. If not, what can the yahoo community suggest?

The only companies that make quad core desktops that are affordable and iBuyPower and Velocity Micro. Velocity Micro is barely affordable. But quad core chips are $299 for a 2.4 GHZ chip, so cheap.

I have an Apple iSight webcam and was video-chatting with my brother earlier. Just curious - do you have a webcam? Do you use it, and are you afraid of any security issues? Which service do you use for it, and what do you like and not like about it? Do you use more than one of these services? On a particular site, i see RAM for $40, then right under the item is another brand (same size) but is $109. Is it cause of the brand name?
Are names like Western Digital and Seagate good brands?

I've store most of my important files inside this thumb drive before i sent my PC for reformatting and install the genuine Windows XP Pro. ( I've been using an unlicensed software earlier). After installing the genuine windows, my thumb drive can't be use at all. When i insert the thumb drive into the USB port, its like i've never insert anything. Its doesn't detect the thumb drive at all. Please help me....

I have a 7900GS AGP video card installed on my computer right now. It calls for a minimum of 400W and a current rating a 20V. Well I have a 500W system (thats ok) with a current rating of only 12V. So far it has ran wonderfully. Do you think it will continue?

I have a AMD Athlon X2 3600+2.0 ghz pc with vista. 1g memory and a GeForce 6100 video card and when I play wow I often lag a lot and the framerate really sucks so I need a good enough video card that's not too expensive since they told me the one this pc comes with us integrated which is not good. Also need some cheap memory.

I Have An AsRock 775Dual-VSTA Motherboard.
And I Know, That This Chipset Can Only Take SATA.

But If I Brought A SATA2 Hardrive And Installed It, How Would It Act?

Would It Just Be Limited To 1.5GB Transfer Rate, Instead Of Its 3GB?

Or Would My Chipset 'Discard' It ?

ok so i just recently upgraded my video card from an old nvidia fx 5500 256mb to an e-geforce 7600 gt 256 mb pci-e.
i have to say i really notice the really big boost in performance and quality. but the only problem is that while im playing a game it minimizes the window and i have to click it to get back in the game and as soon as i get back it does the same thing and it keeps doing it over and over again and its getting really annoying. does anyone know what might be causing the problem?

I bought a webcam and it fits my computer. I installed everything and the directions say that a page will pop up so that you are ready to use it. That page didn't pop up. I tried many things. I later went to where you can make videos and shoot a video.Your supposed to see yourself. I then went to the video's section and saw a video of myself!
