When I try to open it.. The System tells me "Please insert a disk into drive G:"... I tried many things.. in Disk Management the flash drive appears in the list below "Unreadable"... I tried "Kill Disk" tool and I cannot format it under DOS "FDISK"... I tried to format it under Win XP but the system didn't make any response.... Please give reasonable answers as I'm an experienced computer user.... Thanks in advance....

I mean, how often does anyone need to carry 8 GB of data around? You can get them all the way up to 64 GB; but at $2800 it's hard to imagine who would use that.

I use Virtual Memory but can I make windows report it as additional ram? I have 256mb ram but share 64mb with my graphics card so windows reports 192mb. A game (zoo tycoon 2) needs windows to report 256mb ram for it to run. I really want to play it. I wont decrease my shared memory. Can anyone help me?

I have 4 sticks of DDR DIMM. Two onf them are PNY, 1GB, 400Mhz(PC3200). One is Ultra, 512mb, 333MHz(PC2700). and a Kingston, 1GB, 333MHz(PC2700). i know your not supose to put them together but when i do the computer reads it as 2.87GB of ram. I'm no math genious, but (3)1GB and (1)512MB, should make 3.5GB.
why does this happen?

A couple of years ago I installed a new 120 gig hard drive as the slave drive and left the much smaller 6 or 8 gig as the master. Now the smaller drive is so full my computer keeps freezing up. Is it possible to switch the slave to master and vice versa, and what is the proper procedure so I do not lose the data on the current slave drive? If I remember correctly, all data from the C drive (small master) was copied over to the D drive (120 gig slave).

At the moment I have a DVD drive that can only read DVDs, I recently purchased an additional drive that can read and burn. I want to install the other one, but am not really clear on what jumper settings really are, and how to best install the drive so that the one that I just purchased is the "master".

The more details the better.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Does one inch really make a difference on a Wacom tablet?
I bought a Wacom tablet, It's mainly for college purposes and for when I just want to mess around with photoshop at home. I got a 4"x5" for $69, but next to that was a 4"x6" model for $99. Will having one inch less really work against me? I was wondering if I missing out on a lot by not geting the 4x6 model.

OK...Well, I don't know if I have Windows XP SP2 is there a way to tell if you have it? When I go onto the Microsoft Update it says there are no high priority or optional updates. When I clicked on a link about SP2 it just took me to the Microsoft thing where it checks if I have all of the latest updates and again it said there were no updates. So do I have Windows XP Service Pack 2 or not?
