It will be more than adequate to play the Sims 2 games. The only thing that would concern me is the "Up to 512MB shared memory". That typically means it steals memory from the system. I would get something with a dedicated memory allocation for the video card.

you dont need that much shared memory to go towards a game. it will just end up slowing the computer down. just stick with a 128mb at the least and 256mb at the most.

I would say that would be fine...I have a GeForce 4 Ti4800SE 128MB video card in my PC and it works fine.

just check the label at the back of the cd it has the minimum system requirements
