Depends if you use the binary version of the number. If so, then you are correct. In daily day to day terms, we would say 14.6GB equals 14,600 MB. So I thinkyou are correct though...

GB or Gigi byte is a term to describe Billions of bytes of information, Mb or mega bytes is a term describing Millions of bytes of information. The next term is Tera bytes and it describes trillions of bytes of information.The next term is Peta byte and it describes zillions of bytes of information.

There is no one ruling standard, 1gb can be 1000mb or 1024mb.
