im having a WIODOWS VISTA but i dont know , is it as good as MAC osX ... or is MAC osX is as good as VISTA

ive like resended over like 50, literally email verifications!! and i check my bulk and spam folder like crazy!! and i typed everything right and all too!! i know for sure i didnt do anything wrong so please dont suggest " maybe you typed it in wrong". and secondly i created 2 WHOLE new different myspace with 2 WHOLE new different emails and yet still nothing! im getting pretty pissed! and ive waited for like 3 months!

I have an old computer that died with an XP professional product key sticker. Well I don't use that computer anymore, so Could I install XP pro on a diffrent computer and use the product key from the old one. It would only be installed on one computer.

I just had my pc wiped out and reinstalled with xp. The guy used his disk because mine wouldn't work. Well now the new windows come up about the size of a 3x5 card. I have to maximize all of them every single time. He had me clicking on the blank part of the tool bar and I think they might be in cascade size. there is no undo there for this. I can't find anything else to fix this. PLEASE HELP

My Nortan has popped up and said an attack was recently blocked from your computer. It has the name of the virus and everything and it's a high risk but it says it's blocked. Should I remove it? what does this mean?

I have had my cordless logitech mouse for just over a year now and its recently started acting really weird. Its really glitchy and disappears and reappears in different places. It moves really slow sometimes and I cant get it to do what I want it to. Batteries are full power and Ive tried pushing the button to connect the device over and over... I even tried unplugging it completely... no difference. Also downloaded the newest set point. Im at my wits end! Is there anything else I can try or do I just need to buy a new one??? Any help would be much appreciated.

I want to do a program that checks the answer of a question. For example:

string ans1;

cout << "How do you spell dog?\n";
getline(cin, ans1);

if(ans1==dog)
{
cout << "correct\n";
}

when I do this program (with other required parts included)
I get errors saying that I need to identify dog, but if I do it skips over the if statement and ends the program

I created a graphic with the hexadecimal color, #6699CC in illustrator. I then converted it into a jpeg to use in dreamweaver. I then used it in my web page, where on the CSS page I made the Background color #6699CC. In safari they don't match up at all. In Firefox, they look really close together, but are still off. How do I fix it?
