I need one that's FREE, and that I can combine two photos in it to make it look like one. Any ideas??

I highly recommend Paint.NET. It's like a free, watered-down version of Photoshop, and I think it will suit your needs quite nicely.
NOTE: If you don't already have it installed, Paint.NET requires Microsoft's .NET framework version 2.0

try freeware or shareware .com there are a lot of them, I use
www.irfanview.com, it.s free and you can dub music into your slide shows
