Hi,

I have a 250GB external hard drive on my PC, which I use for storing music, photos, pictures, word documents, etc.

My internal C: Drive is only 10 GB and really the only things on there are programs, but it's getting full up and I now only have 633 MB left on there! I have deleted a few programs I don't use but it hasn't helped much. I have also tried to run a disk defragment on my C: Drive but the system says it's too full to start the process!

Can I transfer some of my program files (e.g. Adobe, Quicktime, etc) to my external hard drive? Would they still work? I have 223 GB of space on there!

I have tried to get extra memory added internally but apparently my PC is too old for that.

Thanks in advance!

I've set up a new e-mail address for a new site I'm working on and was wondering if putting spaces before and after the @ will keep spammers from harvesting my new e-mail address from the site. Or is there a better way to do this?

I am trying to find out how much my dell optiplex pc uses in terms of energy at the office.
It has a 17" CRT, and 2Ghz intel P4. lets say it runs ( ie srfing email, and reading, nothing processor intensive) for 8 hrs per day and on standby for the other 16, can anyone give an idea of the engery cost?
I used this site and got an answer of $800 per year, which seems kinda much?
