I have been using the same LCD and laptop successfully before and this is the only time I encountered this. I've tried using other LCDs, the same problem occurs. I think there's something wrong with my laptop? What could be wrong? How can I solve this? Thanks.

I've tried adjusting the brightness of the LCD and my lappy, still the projected image is not bright enough. My laptop is basically OK, it's the one I'm using right now. I discovered there must be something wrong with my lappy since when I tried connecting the LCD to a CPU, it worked just fine. Is there some kind of a setting that I need to adjust to make my lappy work with an LCD? Like I've said, it used to work well before. Thanks again.

"problem with brightness" is it too bright ? Not bright enough ?
Do the same files you used before show the same problems ?
If you connect a normal monitor to the vga port on the laptopn do THEY look OK ?
Is the room you are projecting in lit / unlit ? Have you checked projector settings ?
U need to give more info if you want people to be able to help.

you can try to increase the brightness of your projector, try using the manual for the projector
