When you search for music a drop box comes down under the search box containing previous searches that match what you are typing so far. I believe they call it Autocomplete or something like that. How do I get rid of that?

Search the options panel under the search section. It has a clear the search history option.

BTW.... Be warned that downloading Music over Limewire is against the law. The music industry will prosecute you and make you pay Large sums of money if you are caught. And the music Industry is catching people all the time. Using Limewire is an easy way to get in a lot of trouble!

PS. You can also clear the history by editing the Windows Registry. BUT do not try this unless you know how.

Assuming you're running under an IE box, tools / internet options / content tab, autocomplete lists here, click settings abd clear the cache

I don't know exactly how, but if you type the first letter of something you've already searched and click "clear history" below all of the results already up, you can clear those from comming up.

look in the preference or options and look for the auto complete. if not then it might be in the limewire itself.
