I know it is sad, but I try to only spend 2 hours a day on the net...one in the morning and one at night, but it always ends up being longer. I'm an addict!!

It would depend on the amount of free time which you have available. I'm semi-retired, so I may spend up to three hours one day, and twenty minutes the next. I also like to surf and discover new things, but I can also be away, and not be bothered by not being on.

If I had to guess.. I would say "2", but, it's hard for a net addict to answer a question like that.
But, what i usually tell people is that there are far worse things to be addicted to. Like smoking, drugs, liquor.

Oh, I hear you. I hear the same thing from my husband. If you are an addict you cannot go without being online. I simply use it as a hobby. I don't see the difference in being on the computer and watching TV, except I learn stuff online and rarely learn from TV.

Being on the net is ok. But please do your necessary duties n chores first. I think, if your wife require your attention, then spend time with her first. Spend maybe an hour or so on the net.

Use the net as much as you want but try not to replace something you would've done instead.. Like, you wanted to clean up the house but instead you sit on the computer. ;p
